“High Five Friday”

 

Chief Kyle Heagney is pleased to announce the Attleboro Police Department, in conjunction with the Attleboro School Department, will participate in a terrific community event called “High Five Friday”.

On the morning of Friday, March 24, 2017, the Attleboro Police Department, will participate in “High Five Friday” at the 5 elementary schools and St. John the Evangelist School.

This community event will have Police Officers greet elementary school children as they arrive for school and exchange “High Fives” as students enter the school to start their day.
“This is a great mutual opportunity for the police officers and our school children,” said Chief Heagney. “I am grateful for Superintendent Sawyer’s support and eagerness to engage in these types of programs which fosters relationship building between our police officers and the schools. He certainly has been a tremendous change agent for our school system.”

Currently, Learn to Cope has 26 chapters which holds weekly meetings throughout Massachusetts, as well as a private online discussion forum on our website.
